Donations during the Movement Control Order (MCO)

Quota Club received many requests for financial and in-kind aid during the Movement Control Order (MCO) which was implemented to stem the spread of Covid-19.

From 18 March 2020 there was a general prohibition of mass movement including closure of government and businesses across the country except for those involved in providing essential services.

It was only on 4 May that the lockdown restrictions were eased to allow certain business sectors to reopen under the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO). Malaysia later entered the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) phase from 10 June, where almost all social, educational, religious and business activities, as well as economic sectors reopened in phases, with standard operating procedures to be adhered to. The RMCO will be extended until 31 December.
